Abstract

The text proposes the reading of some works written by Chilean poets who live or have lived in Italy: Mario Meléndez and Francisca Paz Rojas. The aim of the paper is to analyze, in these authors poems, traces of the memory of the coup in Chile and its tragic consequences. As they are young authors, their poetry gives voice to a generation not directly engaged in resistance to the dictatorship, but which had to deal with censorship, removal, and exile.
