Abstract
The Chilean coup immediately had a strong impact on Italian society. The essay reports on the solidarity shown at a political and cultural level for a democratic and anti-fascist Chile. Along these lines, the most significant initiatives in the artistic, musical, sporting and literary spheres are presented, revealing a constant dialogue between culture and politics
