Abstract

During the First World War Ferenczi and Freud were able to keep in touch and work with each other, and this was possible mainly through the regular correspondence they developed, and the multiple projects in which they collaborated. Such a collaboration made possible not only the survival, but also the expansion of psychoanalysis, as we know it today.
