Abstract

The first thing that will, probably, catch your attention and that will certainly disturb some of the Wittgenstein scholars is the title of my talk: Inside Wittgenstein’s Mind. Everybody knows that there’s no “insideµ. This is not meant literally. I’m increasingly interested in how Wittgenstein’s mind worked: how he actually thought. My interest in Wittgenstein, from day one – as a student I had to work on Wittgenstein’s Schopenhauer, and what came out of that is a strong sense of how strange this man was
