Abstract
This contribution proposes a preliminary review of research on separated families with adolescents, carried-out at the CSRF of the Catholic University of Milan. We compared our results to the ones presented in International literature and formulated some questions about the transition to young-adulthood. A survey, based on 15 indepth interviews to a sample of young adults from separated families, focuses these questions. The results show that the young-adults of divorce have a twofold choice: the disengagement or the reconciliation to the familyhistory.
