Abstract
This paper aims to carry out some preliminary reflections, of a mostly factual and linguistic nature, regarding third-party reproduction. Therefore, it provides some considerations on the different ways by which the technique is called in the academic literature and then discusses and analyses the protagonists involved in the process.
