Abstract

Along with Claudio Pavone and Isabella Zanni Rosiello, Filippo Valenti was the scholar, who most contributed to the development of archival science through innovative and, for that time, revolutionary studies. Thanks to the publication of the third book about him by the Ministry of Culture, this paper summarises the main steps and the most interesting ideas.
