Abstract

De Giovanni’s latest volume is a profound philosophical recapitulation of his theoretical and political path, in which he highlights the different conceptions of the relationship between One and Multiple, Form and Life in European history. The book, which crowns a very conspicuous twenty years of reflection on some authors and fundamental questions of the modern and contemporary age, highlights how much the author has treasured his fundamental and lasting relationship with his auctores, who have marked his intellectual biography, Vico and Hegel.
