Abstract

During the period of remote teaching due to the pandemic, I tried to come up with reliable new ways of testing my students’ knowledge, while adding a touch of fun. Two of these methods proved so successful that I decided to adopt them even after the emergency was over: the creation of “impossible dialoguesµ and the activity of imagining what it would be like “if social networks had always existedµ. Both require students to use correct philosophical notions and specific terms, as well as communicative language they are familiar with. Besides, these tasks activate all the cognitive processes listed in Bloom’s taxonomy
