Abstract

Starting from 2012, the banking supervision has been affected by a reform process, aimed at centralizing on a European level the supervisory system, through the realization of the Banking Union, which is characterized by great complexity, in terms of regulatory production, institutional figures involved and with reference to the procedural schemes. This structure requires the establishment of cooperative and integrated mechanisms between the European and national administrative systems. In this work European supervision is analyzed in terms of the results achieved and the critical areas on which to lead the future evolution of the subject.
