Abstract
The Carta Acquisti Sperimentale is an experimental program against poverty. This article describes in which way it has been implemented in Bari, how it has been integrated with local welfare policies and how far it has gone in its aim to contrast poverty and social exclusion. We focus in particular on the role played by different local actors and on the local resources which the program has involved.
