Abstract

Using Arcore as a case study, the aim of this essay is to present the implementation of an advanced technique of Gis (Density maps) exploiting information given by the analysis of administrative sources. After having highlighted the potentiality of administrative data and having introduced spatial geolocalization, the productive and occupational context of Monza and Brianza province where Arcore is located will be taken into specific consideration. Once the general picture is presented, the focus will shift specifically on Arcore, analysing 2012 data regarding new hirings. Finally, the main areas under risk at provincial level identifying where jobseekers live will be deeply analysed.
