Abstract

Judgment no. 90 of 2022 of the Constitutional Court judges a jurisdictional dispute between the Valle d’Aosta Region and the State; dispute which, however, hides another jurisdictional dispute between the Court of Accounts and some regional councilors, condemned by it for having adopted a resolution aimed at recapitalizing the Casino of Saint-Vincent. The events linking the special autonomy of the Aosta Valley to the Casino of Saint-Vincent (set up to finance it) are the background to the judgment of the Constitutional Court which considers the vote cast for the resolution to finance the Casino covered by immunity, as an act of political direction, i.e. a political act such as the law.
