Abstract

The essay deals with the issue of workers’ participation in the enterprise through the legacy of Umberto Romagnoli’s volume, Contrattazione e partecipazione, offering an occasion for dialoguing with the great master on this topic. The author emphasizes his predilection for models of “participation from belowµ, whose diffusion and heuristic importance are highlighted both in terms of the implementation of constitutional principles (article 46 Cost.) and as a meaningful manifestation of the resumption of the studies on the relationship between these new participatory models and the (individual) employment contract.
