Abstract

Religions are familiar with the concept of criminal law, eventually creating an autonomous legal system. Very often the superior entity from which the legal system derives its rules states the type of crimes and the penalties to apply; men are only mere executors of the will of deity. In other cases, men can use a more autonomous judgement to apply the divine rules. This papers aim is to read all the papers of this issue of Daimon trying to find some common sounds between the different religious legal systems explored, underlying common features and distinctive points.
