Abstract

The Smart Connected City represents the future face of urban realities, based on digital infrastructures capable of interconnecting citizens, businesses and public institutions. The sharing and the circulation of data, through the ICT, are the key for a new form of participated governance and the lifeblood for the economic development and the urban prosperity. However, this is possible if the system enjoys a minimum level of trust from its components, depending on the answers offered by the legal system to the increasing requests for privacy protection, digital inclusion and security against the new kinds of cybercrimes
