Abstract

Starting from the epistemological and political crisis of our contemporaneity, the essay reads the concept of utopia as possibility of thinking in a different way the temporal dimension. Both at the origins of Modernity (XVI-XVIth century) and at its end in XXth Century, the author finds an interesting variation of the concept of utopia, used to figure the possibility of a different temporality, the hope of a different chance. Today, this specific meaning of utopia can be found in feminist thought and in its different speech and overlook on the politics.
