Abstract

The author comments on a number of consequences related to Enzo Rullani's thesis according to which there has been a re-personalization of economy. He particularly underlines that the new «complexity» of production processes requires job to be more free, responsible and creative with the result of undermining the differences between work and leisure, and this in turn poses the great question of a redefinition not only of work but also of idleness.
