Suicide is a topic that Chinese researchers have not fully explored. The originality of Wu Fei's research lies in the interdisciplinary approach that combines field investigation and sociological methods with philosophical reflection. Starting from a theoretical redefinition of the issue, the article provides an enlightening insight into modern Chinese society.
