Abstract
The article comments on Art. 25 of the proposed Corporate Sustainability due diligence directive and namely on the provision regarding corporate directors’ duties and liability in view of the sustainable success of companies. The article also explores and takes a view on the ongoing debate on corporate purpose and stakeholder theories of the corporation.
