Abstract
In June 2016, the Italian Parliament passed one of the most important reforms of the 17th Legislature: Delegation law no. 106 on the Third Sector, social enterprises, and universal civil service. The note discusses the implementation of the reform two years after its approval by the Italian Parliament. The author analyses the content of the decrees passed by the Government, and reflects on what has not yet been done. The final part focuses on the aspects that need to be investigated in order to better appreciate the impact of the third sector reform on the Italian welfare system.
