For fifty years the Giornale Italiano di Psicologia has established itself as the most authoritative Italian journal of psychology by disseminating the best Italian research in psychology. The Journal publishes original reports of empirical and theoretical work, reviews of the literature, short-notes, as well as discussions and peer commentaries in an attempt to stimulate lively debate about controversial issues within psychology such as the relationship between psychology and other disciplines, the policy and founding of research, the research enterprise as social intervention, the psychologists’ education and training process, the professional practice of psychologists.
The journal is thus able to offer a detailed and up-to-date picture of psychology in Italy and abroad.
