Abstract

In 2009 the organisation of the Ministry for the Cultural Heritage and Activities has been restructured. This paper examines the changes that have been introduced in central structures. In particular, the paper discusses the new General Directorate established to promote the knowledge of the cultural State heritage and specifically to help increase the number of visitors to the museums.
