A first reading of the recent reform on criminal protection of cultural heritage
Abstract
On March 9, 2022, the Italian Parliament has definitively passed a comprehensive reform on crimes protecting the cultural heritage (law n. 22 of 2022). This short paper analyses the main points of this law, dwelling both on some general issues, such as first and foremost the sedes materiae of the intervention, and specifically on the individual criminal offenses introduced.
