Abstract

Educational responsibility includes the ability of adults to be there, welcome and resist, to allow young people an authentic and creative growth, based on a healthy intergenerational asymmetry that produces trust in themselves and in others and hope in the future. The health emergency from Covid-19 has violently affected all generations, showing its traumatic potential: it has deprived individuals of a primary protective resource, proximity to each other; it has weakened the institutions; it has amplified previous inequalities. This contribution highlights the difficulties that educators had to face during the closure of schools in the eastern suburbs of Naples, together with the strategies used to fulfill their educational responsibility. In the Associazione Maestri di Strada, the Multivision Groups have guaranteed a resistance of thought that has made it possible not to escape from the internal world and the complexity of the external world, carrying out creative educational actions, based on the use of narration and art and on research, of new warm ways of being together despite the distance.
