The essay, which is intended to remember a friend with whom I have shared much in recent years, is divided into short paragraphs in which I propose an essential biographical profile of Pasquini, as a producer of the archives, a brief history of the archive, its structure and articulation, a contextualisation and description of the dossier within the archival series that conserves it, a reconstruction of the events of the text.
