Abstract

The paper analyses the becoming productive of welfare and the shift from Keynesian welfare to a workfare (“welfare to workµ) system, between liberalization of social services and their financialization. It points out the necessity of the introduction of a different proposal of welfare, named Commonfare, especially based on the hypothesis of unconditional basic income as remuneration tool (primary income) of the life put to work and to value.
