Abstract

Recent seismic events have raised the need to address issues related to emergency operations and reconstruction, recovery and restoration interventions. Seminars and debates have been organized on these topics at the Scuola di Specializzazione in Beni architettonici e del Paesaggio at Rome's Sapienza University, where professionals, officials, researchers and scholars spoke on methodologies and guiding principles and on structural, technical, economic and organizational themes in order to determine and identify appropriate methodologies and interventions.
