Abstract

M. Vedovelli wonders about new linguistic dynamics raising in today economical and social situation of our Country, in relation with foreign immigration. He refers to Tullio De Mauro's theoretical and methodological lesson about the exam of the relationship between social and linguistic dimension of today foreign immigration in Italy. After several synthesis, researches, approaches and recent statistic data with regard to the Secondo Rapporto annuale sul mercato del lavoro degli immigrati of the Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali (2012) the author considers how today economical and social crisis of our Country could also affect foreign immigration's linguistic condition.
