Abstract

By looking at the birth and evolution of the informal logic movement, and by clarifying what it is required in order to understand what “schoolµ means, we would like to consider the hypothesis that there is something which could be called “the Canadian ‘school’ of argumentationµ, by reflecting on its evolution towards a discounting of the Aristotelian rhetoric.
