Abstract

The complex nature of the University has led over time to the development of articulated networks of memory sites: libraries, museums and archives, centers for academic history, significant sites in the urban context (as the seat of the university itself, monuments or dedications of educational and research sites), cultural events and activities, as celebrations, exhibitions and historical researches. The aim of the authors is to consider some examples, focusing in particular on the creation of the Center for cultural heritage of the University of Bologna, active between 2000 and 2016.
