Abstract
This essay considers Calvino’s interest towards epistemological and methodological aspects of geography between the 1960s and the 1980s. Starting from the theoretical debate which accompanied the project of the review “Alì Babàµ, the article discusses the construction of a method to investigate reality and the development of a “geographical narrativeµ in Calvino’s fictional, essayistic and autobiographical writings.
