Abstract

This paper aims to reflect on the forms of resemantization in cultural spheres. Starting from the analysis of some creative dynamics captured by the playful field of fashion, we will try to demonstrate is the close correlation between the dynamics of resemantization defined by Greimas and Courtés in Dictionary of Semiotics (1979: 280) and the mechanism of meta-description of culture outlined by Jurij M. Lotman in Semiosphere (1985). In this way, emerges the possibility of studying the creative dynamics of resemantization at the level of meta-culture.
