Abstract

The reflection on ethics in psychological research is part of the more general one on psychology as a science that shows aspects of extreme openness to different paradigms. Methodological pluralism, which represents one of the most extraordinary resources of psychological science, corresponds to the responsibility of ensuring common ethical principles applicable in very different contexts. For this reason, training in research ethics in psychology cannot be limited to the transmission of a set of practices, to be approached as a fulfillment. On the contrary, ethics is a value and a goal of research, which is achieved through exchange, collaboration and comparison.
