Abstract

The present study has originated from a project experience developed for the Macerata province and it analyses statistics of the busy foreign residences (also with sub-town detail) communities, valorising the last available census data. The study draws a residential «geography» of the foreign families, particularly in the most populous cities and in those with great presence of the foreign communities. Data and indicators of the families with foreign «head-family» can be compared with families with Italian «head-family»: the aim is to identify differences, similarities and peculiarities in the same territories, zones or «districts».
