Abstract

An ageing population brings with it challenges in providing support and protection for the elderly people. Because of the complex changes in old age, there is growing need for the introduction of integrated social health services, for better way to meet the needs of the elderly person and ensure their quality of life. NetAge is a project in the field of social and health services for ageing people. It involves 6 countries and 13 partners in the Adriatic Area. Starting from the knowledge of the context and sessions of training and mobility for volunteers and civil servants, the project aims to develop a more competent and participating way of collaboration between public and private sector according to the Open Method of Coordination.
