Abstract

"Generi Genesi Generazioni" (Gender Genesis Generations) is an innovative system of making a detailed statement of accounts and elaboration of the public expenses conceived to meet the aim of Equal Opportunities. The Equal Opportunities is the method Asc InSieme is using to administer Welfare Services in the area of 9 Municipalities and 109,000 inhabitants, following principles of homogeneousity, efficiency and equity. "Generi Genesi Generazioni" is the transparent and public narration of what Asc InSieme is doing, and of how this is being realized, for men and women, for natives and migrants, for children under age, for adults and for elderly people. This narration includes numbers and stories. The numbers refer to the amount of use of the Services, their costs, their efficiency and their effectiveness, and to the experimental measuring of the users' Genuine Progress Indicator (Gpi). The stories are the introduction to the political figures who have taken the political decisions, as well as their considerations on, and the formative and professional "curricula" of the people in charge of actually put them into practice through actions and projects.
