Abstract

BJCEM (Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean) is an international non-profit-making association constituted in Sarajevo in 2001 by 30 members (Ministries, Local Bodies, Institutions and Cultural Associations) coming from 11 different Euro-Mediterranean countries. Its main target is to promote the young artist's creativity, to encourage international exchanges and the development of pacific relations across the area, especially through the Biennial event. This paper describes the model of glocal network BJCEM developed as the most suitable to achieve its main objectives: bring out the different experiences sharing them on the net, promote the intercultural dialogue between young people coming from deeply different countries, set off the young creativity. A special attention is given to the features of its organization and financing.
