Abstract

Through a «conversation» with Carla Vanni, who was editor in chief of «Grazia» for nearly thirty years (1978-2007) and that had started her career as fashion editor for «Grazia» in the late Fifties, we have recalled the history of a magazine that has gone along, week after week, with different generations of readers, winning and maintaining, over the years, a leading position in the system of Italian magazines for women. Amagazine that has transformed itself in an international brand, with many worldwide editions, a prestigious showcase for the Made in Italy, able to understand the changing times and tastes, and representing women of different ages and conditions.
