Abstract

The law regulating the labour accomplished as employed person has been the law of XX century and the most euro-centred one. For this reason, the most urgent problem is to avoid that the European social model, to which the labour regulation has widely contributed, could be nullified. The solution must be searched, not in a new regulation of labour as an object of contract, but in new guaranties regarding the quality of life of working people. For this purpose it is very important to take into consideration the perspective of a new "citizenship" which should guarantee the protection, which the labour contract is no longer able to do.
