Abstract
This article is dedicated to the groups of institutions which compose the normative statement of social protections of the family. In particular, the author deals with benefits in favour of the survivors, with protection of maternity and with family allowances. The essay examines beyond the present discipline, a possible evolution of the relevant institutes, with particular reference to protection of maternity.
