Abstract

The Author analyses the Italian industrial relations system in the light of the theory elaborated in the period following the "Statuto dei lavoratori" (Act n. 300 of 1970). The essay makes some hypotheses regarding the relationship between the right to strike and the transformation of the industrial conflict. The starting point is the individual or collective legitimation of the strike and the dogmatic and practical consequences which occur to this system, with particular reference to the period after the law on public service strikes. The paper is dedicated to Massimo D'Antona's memory.
