Abstract

With the entry into force of the Act n. 92 of 2012 the Author intended to see how the legislator has combined interventions aimed at introducing more flexibility with those directed to ensure the prospect of stable employment, so that the flexibility of labour doesn't turn into insecurity of workers. In particular, have been examined, on one side, the restrictive measures taken in order to avoid an uncontrolled use of temporary contracts and a perpetuation of the condition of instability of temporary workers; on the other side, are taken into account the mechanisms through which is supported the process of stabilization of the temporary work. The aim, therefore, is to evaluate how the new reform is able to contrast the abuse of the elements of flexibility and support the use of permanent contracts.
