Abstract

The author, after examining the growing interest of Eu institutions about Csr, analyses the relationship between Csr and social dialogue. The final purpose aims at understanding how this kind of "inevitable interaction" affects collective relationships, specifically in the European context. Csr analysis gives the opportunity to reconsider some main topics of European trade-union law, like representativeness; the relationship between tripartite social dialogue and collective bargaining; the topic of conflict, etc. Conclusions highlight how social dialogue/ Csr interaction complicates these questions as new problems come up beside the traditional ones: the rise of contractual actors, the multi-stakeholder dialogue functioning, the competences that sustainability requests to social actors, and most of all the possible conflict between them.
