Abstract

The paper examines issues related to international framework agreements and in particular to the lack of effectiveness concerning corporate social responsibility clauses through which multinational corporations undertake to guarantee fundamental labour rights of workers involved in their global supply chains. From this perspective, the Authors investigate whether article 28 of Law nr. 300/1970 works as tool to protect reputation of trade unions that sign the international agreement as well as to ensure labour rights along the global supply chain.
