Abstract

The aim of this article is to focus on the evolutionary dynamics of the National Health Service induced by the Blair Government. The so-called "Third Way" shows a complex process where the inputters' theories or a sophisticate centralization of the quality control found a new place. But an advanced network cooperation is reached thanks to the institution of the Foundation Hospital Trust and a new synergy between private and public sector. The balance between these instances and the effort to improve the patient's care shows a different panorama for the clinical governance and new solutions able to be introduced in other countries.
