Abstract

This paper aims at analysing the importance of the great steel plant ILVA in Taranto. After rebuilding the history of this industry which was started in 1960 and completed in 1975, the paper analyses all the data that characterize the factory owned by the Group Riva in Milan, that is among the top 20 steel producers in the world.
