Abstract

The concept of trust plays an increasingly important role in AI. The growing presence of artificial entities capable of performing increasingly complex actions in an increasingly autonomous way has led to the evolution of computational models from simpler to more elaborate forms of trust. This phenomenon is due to the fact that, as the complexity of the interaction increases, the importance of trust also increases. Within this contribution, starting from the socio-cognitive model of trust, we present 4 examples of adaptation in different scenarios, thus showing the advantages introduced by this type of modeling.
