Abstract

The article illustrates the procedure to create a modular portable system that monitors two psychophysiological indexes commonly used in psycology: electrodermal activity and cardio-frequency. These two indexes, togheter with other indexes, may provide some important information on the emotional state of the subject. The article provides all the necessary technical information and describes the procedure to interface the system to the computer. A short example of application is also provided, together with a description of the advantages and limits of the system compared to other similar instruments.
