Abstract

The review provides a critical summary of the recent research and theories in the field of group decision making. The variables related to the task and the group composition that might influence the decision are discussed. Moreover, the models and theories regarding group decision-making are presented. Finally, the biased tendencies shown by the group as a whole and by the group as a combination of individuals are examined.
